Our company provides the production and manufacturing of automotive seat stamping and welding parts for Magna Hongli Automotive Systems (Shaanxi) Co., Ltd. Due to the limited mold development costs approved by the customer, only ordinary single engineering molds could be used in the early stage of the project. A stamping part with a complex shape often requires four or five processes to manufacture, which means that 5 punching machines and at least 5 workers are required to complete the production of 1 part, and the efficiency and quality stability are low. We improved the mold structure through engineers, integrated multiple single-process molds together to form a large-volume mold, and used a large punching machine for production. After fine assembly and debugging, we achieved the effect of 1 punching to carry out 4 processes at the same time and produce 1 product, achieving a 3-fold increase in production efficiency and a reduction of 2 workers. At the same time, the quality stability between processes was also controlled, while improving production capacity and quality, saving labor costs, meeting customers' requirements for production capacity and quality, and gaining recognition from customers. Customers have been cooperating since 2019, and deliver 20 million similar products each year.
